2023 Data
• IDOE shared 1008 program participation data with the Center for Assessment for impact analyses.
• Records in data file:
• For 2023 there were 44,034 records in the data file
• For 2022 (previous analyses) there were 47,407 records in the data file.
• Though all students in the files were assumed to have been participants in 1008 programs (across
mathematics, ELA, and CCR):
• In 2022, 555 (of the 47,407) records were missing program participation minutes. 322 of the
records indicated 0 total minutes on 1008 program participation.
• In 2023, 0 (of the 44,034) records were missing program participation minutes. 27,897 of the
records indicated 0 total minutes on the 1008 program participation.
• Whereas we accounted for participation levels in 2022 (to no avail), the data suggests that
quantification of program participation is likely not a valid indicator of the amount of program
participation.
