Lead presenter of Session 4 — Michigan Test for Teacher Certification — the meeting’s longest session — alongside Nancy Hahn, Heather Klesch, and Jackie Thompson of Pearson / Evaluation Systems.
The session sought committee guidance on two questions: whether OEE’s working definition of “meaningfully different” test forms was defensible (MTTC Meaningfully Different Forms), and whether to build constructed-response tests for optional science and social studies endorsements (MTTC Constructed-Response Endorsements). The committee rejected the first and advised against the second.
