What would a score report using the new method look like?
Asked by: OEAA, in Session 5 — Simulation Studies on Subtest Indicators — “If we decided to use this, what would a score report look like for this?”
Answer given: the committee’s reporting advice, in aggregate — Report a level of certainty with any subscore category, Establish scale, then cuts, then categorise from theta, Offer drill-down score reporting, and Run parent think-alouds and focus groups on the score report.
Why it is still open. The advice specifies properties, not a design. OEAA committed to bringing a sample report to the fall meeting (Bring a sample score report to the next meeting), which is where this question gets answered.
